Lazy Sunday: Week in Review 4/21/13

This past week had me all off kilter–my family and I were out of town looking for a place to live beginning this June when we move from CT to VA; and there was the horrible tragedy in Boston that left me more reflective than usual and hence not on the internet as much as I normally am. So while I feel like I’ve missed out on a ton of stuff going on with everyone across the blogosphere, I was able to spend a lot of good quality time with my family.

As such, this week’s Lazy Sunday post is extra heavy on the lazy. Since I wasn’t posting much, I don’t have too many favorites quotes or other Facebook posts for that matter. So I’m simply going to recap my blog posts for you, in case you missed anything this week . . .

My Blog Posts

Because I was out of town, I lined up some super guest bloggers for your reading pleasure since I knew I wasn’t going to be able to do much writing.

Guest Posts

On Monday, Michelle from You’re my favorite today shared how her husband keeps her up at night. She and I have a lot in common, and I’m really hoping I’ll get invited to her cabin in Minnesota.

On Wednesday, Meredith from The Girl Next Door Drinks and Swears got a little nostalgic and shared how she wishes for just one more day. This is a post I think all of us parents can relate to.

And on Thursday, Joy from ComfyTown Chronicles got her funny on with her review, or anti-review if you will, of Ted the movie. And I may have written the world’s longest ever guest post introduction in this one. I had so much funny to share.

I’m so grateful to each of my guests this week and can’t thank them enough for helping me out while I was away. Thank you, ladies!

Weekly Posts

I did still manage to get out my Too Tired to Try Tuesday post and my Shiny, Happy, Sparkly, Feel-Good Friday post. In the former, I shared a few recipes for homemade finger paint (and yes, I cringe at the thought of the mess it will make as well, which is why I also shared a post for cleanup suggestions), and in the latter I shared a ton of pics of my kids enjoying our trip to VA.

I hope you all had a good week. Things should be getting back to normal for me again this coming week. Until next time, this has been just another week with the wild things.

Author: Mamma Wild Thing

I'm a mamma to four little wild things and can't imagine life any other way. (Well, most days.)
