I recently read an article by The Orange Rhino titled “10 Things I Learned When I Stopped Yelling at My Kids” in which the author described how she just stopped yelling at her kids (as if the title didn’t give that away). For an entire year. And counting! Having patience issues myself, and hating how I felt when I broke down and yelled at my own kids (which happened more than I care to admit), I decided to take the plunge and stop the yelling myself. Lucky for me, The Orange Rhino made this easy for me . . . she had a challenge all ready set up, with tons of resources and supports. I was sold.
I’m going to use this page to keep track of my progress as I go along. If you care to join me in the challenge, hop on board! And let me know, so we can hold each other accountable!

You can do it. I’ve had to start over more times than I would have liked. It’s definitely a journey, but I keep trying.

We’re heading into Day 3 ourselves. Sadly, Day 2 was not as easy as Day 1, but it’s a relearning process for all of us.

It’s so hard . . . I’m always restarting, but at least I’m working toward not yelling! Good luck.

That’s all we can do. And use each other as support!
