I like to eat good food (preferably that someone else has made). And I like simple. The recipe I’m sharing today comes from my friend Amy at Funny is Family — it’s one she shared a while back, and it is supposed to be both delicious and easy to make. (It only has 5 ingredients!) In fact, my friend over at The Girl Next Door Drinks and Swears tried them and swears by them, too — her daughter even requested these for her birthday dinner. These get birthday dinner status, my friends! They both assure me that I’ll have to try them. And I will, one day, I promise.
In the meantime, click here for the recipe if you’d like to give it a go. And while you’re there, please make yourself at home and tell Amy I say hello. She’ll have a beer or some wine waiting for you. (Psssst, Amy, you may or may not have some people stopping by, so clean up the joint and stock up on some beer and wine. Ok, you don’t need to clean–we can all agree on that, right?–but some drinks would be nice, am I right? And the subs. Can you make those, too?)
If you give it a try, please let me know how it goes. And if it’s good, I’ll send you my address so that you can send me some.
I’m no cooking or crafting guru, so I started these Too Tired to Try Tuesday posts to share craft and recipe ideas that I’ve come across and would really like to try but am just too damned tired (that sounds better than lazy, right?) to get around to. In addition to ideas that I find, I am open to submissions from you–either something tried and true or something you want to try but haven’t had the time to. Just send me an email at email@example.com with your ideas, and I may share them here. (And by “may” I mean “will definitely”! I just confessed how
lazy tired I am, so if you take the time to send me something to share, I’m going to share it!)
